This is a fun math or literacy center for the week of Valentine’s Day. Students will be able to work on spelling and identifying number words when working with this game. This center gets the students up and moving versus having them sit in a seat. It is a highly chosen center in my classroom. The boys love to connect the hearts with the plastic chain links. This center works on identifying numbers 1-10. This is a multi-functional game. You can also use this game to focus on the skill of making number sets 1-10. Instead of linking the words to the main game piece, you can students link the matching amount of chain links to the number card instead. I hope your students have as much fun with this game as mine do. For more great Valentine’s Day educational fun, check out my TPT store.
