Ready for a print and go Valentine Party! Here are 4 tried and true party games for young children.
Table of Contents:
Sweet Treats Letter Bingo
Includes 6 different Bingo cards featuring 9 uppercase letters on each page and a page of Bingo calling cards. As a treat use valentine candy or foam hearts to cover your bingo cards.
Valentine Sweets Size Sort Relay!
Cut apart the 14 sweet cards. Divide the cards among 2 cookie sheets.
Use two large cookie spatulas or large plastic spoons.
Have children form 2 lines. At the start of each line put a cookie sheet. When you say go the first child must scoop up a sweet card and carry it to the end of the relay, then they must put the sweet card on one of the three size placemats at the end. Then run back and give the spatula to the next child in line. Play until all the candy has been sorted.
Pass The Heart!
A classic party game. Cut out the heart. Have children sit in a circle with one child in the middle closing their eyes. Have the rest of the children pass the heart around the circle until you say “Stop”. Then all the children hide their hands behind their backs and the child in the middle has three chances to guess who is hiding the heart. Then the child holding the heart takes a turn in the middle.
Valentine Number Clip Cards
Cut the cards apart. Then have children count the sweets in each box and clip a clothes pin onto the correct number. Another fun variation is to place a conversation heart on the correct number on the card and when the children are finished they can eat the hearts.
*To make the games more sturdy it is recommended to print on cardstock or to laminate the games. Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day!
