Valentine-Themed Scratch-Off Cards! This activity includes instructions and picture cards to practice . All in a fun hands-on format: use a quarter to scratch off the paint and reveal the pictures! Great practice for any student PreK through Elementary age.

Practice articulation skills at the single word level by scratching off the paint and saying the target word. Or use the target words in a phrase or sentence depending on the student’s skill level. The pictures can also be used for conversation/narrative skills by describing the process of scratching off the paint and talking about what is found.
You will need contact paper, cardstock, metallic acrylic paint, and liquid dish soap to prep the scratch-off pictures. You can also laminate the sheets instead of using contact paper and reuse the same sheet over and over! Picture cards can also be used as is (non scratch-off). This is a great resource for speech-language pathologists, preschool and elementary teachers, and parents. These take a little bit of extra prep work to get ready, but are so worth it!
