Valentine – Sight Word Sentence Sets #1
“I love you” notes are quick and easy printables for your students to complete and give to their family, friends, and teachers.

Adorable graphics are included to help the emergent reader with comprehension of each sentence. "Valentine Sight Word Sentence Sets #1 – I love you" includes notes to the following people and animals: Mother, Father, baby, sister, brother, grandparents, pet, family, friend (boy), friend (girl), teacher (female), teacher (male), and bonus word, valentines.
Each love note has one sentence that is repeated and then written in four different ways. The vocabulary consists of pre-primer level words, CVC, Dolch nouns, and high frequency words.
*Pages 1–13 (Complete one valentine I love you note per day for 13 days of minilessons.) –Read the sentence. -Trace the sentence. -Write the sentence. -Fill in the missing word in the sentence. -Color the words in the sentence. -Illustrate the sentence to show comprehension.
*Page 14-15 Differentiation: -The student will create his or her own sight word sentences. -Step-by-step instructions are given for this cut and glue activity.
*Page 16 –Trace and color inside each word. (See the color key.)
*Page 17-18 -Literacy Center Activity: Flashcards -Have fun practicing the words with your partner. –Note: Run copies on paper of the desired thickness you want for the flashcards.
