Here's a fun Valentine-themed game for your students to practice counting quantities in the teens.
Game Play: Students find the heart number 1. Use a dry-erase marker to count the animals on the left half of the colored heart, then write that number on the left half of the coordinating heart on the recording sheet. Do the same thing with the right halves of the hearts. Then, students decide which number is greater (more) and color that half of the heart. Easy to learn!
Your students will like the pretty graphics and there are ten heart sets to count, which will keep them busy! Engaged students are learning students. :)
