A fun and simple to play articulation sorting game for discrimination of phonemes /ch/ and /t/!
Cut out all /ch/ and /t/ Articulation Cards and the 2 Sort Cards. Spread out Sort Cards on the table or floor. Shuffle all of the /ch/ and /t/ Articulation Cards and place in a pile face down. You may use all the Articulation Cards or only use the word position (initial or final) you wish to target. Players take turns drawing a card, saying the word on their card, and matching the Valentine’s Day picture on their card to the correct Sort Card. The activity is complete when all of the /ch/ and /t/ Articulation Cards have been matched to the appropriate Sort Card. Laminate cards for repeated use. Enjoy!
Alternate Use: You may also use these cards to work more directly on auditory discrimination by pairing each card (i.e. “chin” with “tin”) for identification or drill/practice tasks.
Includes 48 Articulation Cards:
12 initial /ch/ cards, 12 final /ch/ cards
12 initial /t/ cards, 12 final /t/ cards
2 Sort Cards
