Product Description
Are you looking for a fun way to review those math skills while keeping the Valentine's Day spirit in your classroom?

I have created this fun game that I play in my own classroom, and my students can't get enough of it! I like to put it in our monthly math tubs, so students know how to play the game.

Here's how to play:
Shuffle the cards and place into a stack. Have students take turns drawing a card, and reading what is on the card out loud. If a student is right, they get to keep the card. If they are wrong (example: give the wrong sum for an addition sentence) they put their card at the bottom of the pile. Students continue taking turns until a cupcake card is drawn. When a student draws a card with a cupcake on it they say “cupcake” and every student has to put all of their cards back into the pile. You can either put the cupcake card back into the pile, or set it to the side. The game is over when all of the cards have run out!

The game reviews the following skills: number ID, number words, tally marks, and tens frames all to 20. It also includes addition and subtraction problems to 20.

There is both a colored as well as a black and white version. You get to choose which one you would like to print!

I hope your students enjoy this game as much as I do! Thanks for your purchase!
