Valentine's Day: Valentine Bag and Book Report all in one. This is a fun Valentine's Day bag that will work with upper elementary. I feel like it is suitable for grades 3-5, but please read the description and look at the thumbnail images to decide if you think it will work for your class.
Not only is it going to hold the Valentine's Day cards from friends, but students will complete a book report on a book they 'LOVE' before February 14th.
You can also purchase this file as part of a BUNDLED pack.
There is a front and back to the bag, which means there are two sheets to be completed. The template is designed to fit perfectly to the front and back of a standard brown lunch bag... just fill out, cut, and glue.
Book Report is Optional... you choose whether to include that or not. Keep in mind that you can have them simply complete the front side of the bag if you want, possible for morning work on Valentine's Day, or make it a bigger project with the book report included, spanning over a few days. In addition, this could be a totally at-home project.
The front of the baggie has a place for: name, lovely words to describe me, activities I love, the food I love the most, acrostic poem using the word heart, and an illustration frame for an image of me doing an activity I love.
The back of the baggie is the book report. It has places for:Title and author of book, main character, character trait, evidence from story to support the trait, setting, problem in the story, how the problem was solved, and I love this book because......
Your students are sure to have fun designing their bags. In addition, they will make a colorful display when students are passing out their Valentine cards.
