Here are two tasty treats to capture your students' interest and enhance their reading comprehension!
Candy Heart Comprehension
I like to use these craftivities in guided reading groups or after we read some “sweet” Valentine themed stories. Once students read or listened to the story, they describe the characters, setting, problem, and solution. Once pages are complete, students will cut them out. Staple them at the top to make a “sweet” looking booklet to display in your classroom.
Super Sweet Summary
This craftivity can be used to summarize any story. After we read or listen to a story, students write a summary. Staple the cover to the top of the summary page to make a cute candy heart visual to display on a bulletin board.
***These craftivities are included in my February and Valentine's Day Reading Comprehension Activities to use with Any Book pack.***
