Product Description

Valentine's Day Pop Art Mailbox craftivity/activity for classroom teachers. This Valentine's Day mailbox is really easy. I’ve tried to think of everything you will need to know to make this a successful and fun lesson for your students.

There are two variations of the Valentine's Day mailbox in this lesson. All of the templates you need for both lessons are included.

I have also included a colored version of the templates so you don’t have to spend time coloring your own example. You can just print out the sheets I have provided and show your students how to assemble the mailbox with these colored pieces. This will save you a lot of time!

The first version of this lesson is the easiest.

I provide you with all the templates. You simply print and copy them. Then the students color them, cut them all out and assemble the Valentine's Day mailbox (all described in this unit).

The second variation is just a tiny bit harder but certainly not “hard.” In this variation of the Valentine’s Day Mailbox, students will use the templates I provide in this packet to trace onto construction paper and then cut out and assemble their mailbox using construction paper. This makes for a little bit sturdier mailbox because of the thickness of the construction paper and allows your students to design the mailbox however they want.

I’ve tried to give you options so you can make this lesson work for whatever grade level you teach. Have fun with it, and Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your students!

I have lots of other Valentine's Day-themed items that you may like:

Thank you for infusing your classroom with art!
