Product Description
This is a Valentine's Day theme word problem sheet. There are six division word problems. Students are to interpret the remainder (for example, after dividing, they are asked "how many are leftover", "how many total cars are needed", etc).

Examples from the worksheet:

1. Jose has 197 candy hearts. He wants to equally split them between himself and four friends. He will give the leftovers to his little sister Maria. How many will Maria receive?

2. There are 134 students going to the “Cupid Dance” on Valentine’s Day. Each parent that is driving to the dance can take 6 students at once. How many total cars will be needed to drive all of the students to the dance?

4. Mrs. Jones wants to bake 123 mini brownies for her classroom’s Valentine’s Day party. Each batch makes 9 brownies. How many total batches of mini brownies will she have to make?
