Product Description
Keep your students learning and practicing, despite the Valentine's Day celebrations and candy, with this fun EET companion resource! Your students can play a Valentine's Day-themed train game, where they'll collect EET beads. I recommend that you use this with the Expanding Expression Tool (EET) by Sara L. Smith.

NOTE: This product is included in my Seasonal/Holiday EET Companion Pack Bundle. If you have already purchased or plan to purchase the bundle, then do not purchase this product.

What awesome resources are included?
★ Expanding Vocabulary Valentine’s Train Game
★ 48 object cards
★ Review worksheets
★ A generic board game that can be used with any targets

How can you use this product?
For the Expanding Vocabulary Valentine's Train Game:
★ Print and laminate a train for each student.
★ Print and laminate the heart/Valentine’s Day pieces and place them in the middle.
★ Print and laminate the visual and directions and display them for your students. If you have a SMARTBoard, then you can display this page on it for your students to see while playing. This will help them understand what they need in order to win.
★ Place the object pile in the middle. Students will take turns picking an object. On each object card is an EET “bead.” They must express the describing concept requested (EET bead). Once they express that description, they can locate the heart/Valentine’s Day piece that has that EET bead on it.
★ Students will take turns picking an object and describing it while adding pieces to their train until all of the cards run out.
★ The first student to fill their train with all seven types of pieces/EET beads is the winner.

For the generic board game:
★ Students must roll a die to move along the game board.
★ They must express the description based on the space on which they land.
★ All spaces have correlating EET “beads.”
