-addition and subtraction with regrouping and borrowing
-money
-multiplication

Valentine's Day Fraction Concentration
This set of 24 task cards is great practice when learning about or reviewing fractions in pictorial form. These would be great for a matching warm-up activity on the board or perfect for a center activity. There is a direction sheet that can be put in the center with this activity.
The students will shuffle all of the cards and place them face down. The first person will turn over two cards and see if they match. If they do, then that student gets to keep the cards. If they do not match, then they will turn the cards back over. The next person repeats the above steps, until all of the cards have been matched together.

Valentine's Day Multiplication Hearts Puzzle
This set of 24 task cards is great practice when learning about or reviewing basic multiplication. The puzzles can be used whole class as warm-up questions or you can use them in centers. This set of multiplication puzzles is Valentine's Day/February themed. A recording sheet and an answer key are also included.
Each heart has a multiplication problem on one half and an answer on the other half. Students will work to find the two puzzle pieces that go together. There should be a total of 24 hearts when they are put back together.

This set of 36 task cards is great practice when learning about or reviewing addition and subtraction. The cards can be used whole class as warm-up questions or you can use them to play scoot. They can also be used as a center activity. This set of place value task cards is Valentine's Day/February themed. A recording sheet and an answer key are also included.
Each card has an addition or subtraction problem on it. The students are to solve the problem on each card. Some of the cards will require regrouping or borrowing. They may even have to subtract across zeros. I have included a recording sheet that they could write their answers on. There is also a direction sheet that you could print if needed. I like to have the direction sheet printed so that when I put this in a center students have something to refer back to.

This set of 24 task cards is great practice when learning about or reviewing how to count money. The cards can be used whole class as warm-up questions or you can use them to play scoot. They can also be used as a center activity. This set of money matching task cards is February/Valentine's Day themed. A recording sheet and an answer key are also included.
One set of cards has coins on them. The other set has envelopes with an answer on them. The students will match a envelope card to the cards with the coins on them. They will end up with 24 matching sets. I have included a recording sheet that they could write their answers on. There is also a direction sheet that you could print if needed. I like to have the direction sheet printed so that when I put this in a center students have something to refer back to.

Valentine's Day Place Value Task Cards
This set of 24 task cards is great practice when learning about or reviewing place value. The cards can be used whole class as warm-up questions or you can use them to play scoot. They can also be used as a center activity. This set of place value task cards is February/Valentine's Day themed. A recording sheet and an answer key are also included.
Each card has a set of place value blocks on it. The students are to use the place value blocks to determine the number that they represent. You could laminate these and they could write the answer directly on the card in the answer box, or I have included a recording sheet that they could write their answers on. There is also a direction sheet that you could print if needed. I like to have the direction sheet printed so that when I put this in a center students have something to refer back to.
