This activity was created to target asking questions, labeling thematic vocabulary, identifying and using adjectives, and understanding negation. Great for also working on articulation during a less structured activity.
Directions for the activity:
-Print and laminate all cards. Print two copies of the big cards. ***This is a two player game
-May use either kids version, the animals version, or a combination of the tow.
-Both players draw a small card, either kids’ cards or animal cards’, depending on which version you choose. Each player lays out the big cards face up.
-Players take turns to ask the other player a question about the card he/she has.
-Turn big cards face down when the other player’s card doesn’t have the characteristics asked about. (ex: Does you person have a hat? No. Turn all cards over that have a hat.)
-When there is one card that remains face up, the student asks if their if their card is the one left. (ex: Are you Annie?)
