This Valentine themed math center focuses on coordinate graphing. In this center, cupids are practicing their archery skills in preparation for Valentine’s Day using a coordinate grid heart target. Each cupid’s results are shown on their own scorecard. Students use the coordinates provided on each scorecard to see where the arrows hit the target. Different parts of the heart are worth different points. Then they determine how many points (if any) each arrow earned, and total up the number of points for each cupid to see who won the archery contest.
I have also provided a one page sheet with all of the cupid's coordinates if you aren't interested in using the cupid cards. In this way, it is a very simple, print-and-go coordinate graphing activity. :)
