This fun and festive Valentine's Day chocolate box craft activity will help your students practice creating equivalent fractions. This resource is very easy to use—the only prep is printing! Included in this resource are 30 numbered heart-shaped boxes so that each of your students will have a unique project. Students will create equivalent fractions from the fraction on their heart-shaped box and write them on the cut-and-paste chocolates. Also included is an extra practice worksheet for your early-finishers!
This craft is fun for students, looks great in classroom displays, and helps your students practice important math skills! Students will need glue, scissors, and colors in order to complete this activity. Grade-level scissor skills are needed to complete the craft; however I have also included a copy where chocolates are already in the heart-shaped box in case you have a student with below-level scissor skills.
