Valentine's Math Goofy Glyph is an activity that students can use to hone their abilities in mathematics while putting together a fun art project that your students can give to their parents, caregivers, or friends for St. Valentine's Day. Whether your students answer the questions right or wrong will dictate the way their glyphs look in this potentially silly glyph. They will end up with a sweet Valentine's Day card or a seriously silly card with red-striped zebras and carrots!
The math problems are designed for children in the 8th grade and are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for eighth grade mathematics.

At the back of this booklet are templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork. There is also a writing page you can use as a supplemental Valentine's Day writing activity for your students' Valentine's Day cards.
Also at the back of this book is a graph that you can use to demonstrate how the students in your class view different questions from the glyph.
This is a very detailed glyph. Make sure to check out the preview to see if it is good match for your class.
All artwork is original and created by myself.
