Description
Are you looking for a way to help your students practice their money and budgeting skills Valentines Day? This fun Valentine's PBL is perfect for upper elementary and middle school students, as they run a mock flower shop. It is great for assessment or group projects, and encourages critical and creative thinking in a real life scenario in numeracy.
It has been designed for students in grades 4 to 7, and is available in both PDF and Google slides.

THE PERFECT WAY TO GET STUDENTS INTERESTED IN MATH!
The projects are easy to follow and can either be teacher run or student driven. Each math project is designed to run between 3-5 lessons depending on how much time you wish to allocate to the tasks.
THE TASK: Students will work with a set budget to come with their own range of flower bouquets to be ready for Valentine's Day. This project provides great differentiation as it allows students to visually glue in the flowers used into their books (for the lower end) and includes a blank flower costing to provide more complex pricing (for higher end). BONUS design your own bouquet art included.
