A Valentines Day activity for students learning to solve inequalities. This activity is also ideal for a review for students who have already taken Algebra I. Students refine their skills with sovling inequalities but also their inductive reasoning skills, as the pieces will only work out in one manner.
This puzzle contains inequalities and their correspondins solutions in a 4 x 4 grid. There are 5 versions of the puzzle included which vary in the number of graphics. This allows for differentiation amongst ability groups, as the puzzles increase in difficulty as the number of graphics increases.
Your purchase includes a PDF file of the puzzle. Although it isn't necessary for use, it is recommended you print the puzzle on cardstock and have it laminated prior to cutting it out so it can last for years to come. Be sure to cut the puzzles prior to passing them out, as they are in the correct order and also serve as the answer key. Once passed out, instruct the students to form a four by four grid. If this is the first puzzle you have used, you may want to give the students a corner piece as a starting point.
Your purchase of any of these bundles gives you the rights to any future puzzles we upload to our store. These bundles will provide you with activities and stimulated learning for your students for the entire year.
