This is a valentine-themed coordinate grid game for students in 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grade. The goal of the game is to collect all of the letters to spell the word "valentine". Students spin a spinner to determine their x and y coordinates. There are letters at different coordinates. If a student spins the coordinates for a letter that they need, they can color in their letter. The winner of the game is whoever colors all of the letters for valentine. There are random hearts on the coordinate grid that count as a freebie for whichever letter students want.

What is included?

Included in this project are a coordinate grid game board (for just quadrant one), student recording sheet for the game, spinners, and student instructions for the game. Pages come in color or in black and white.
