Valentine's Day! Kids love giving special valentine cards to their friends. Now they can learn a little about the history of Valentine's Day and 3 of the traditions associated with this holiday. The Cupid, Cards and Candy mini-book will help you bring an academic focus Valentine's Day. Your students can work on the book in a learning center during the week of Valentine's Day or you can read it with your whole class.
Students will read a mini-book about Valentine’s Day.
Each page is 5 ½ ” by 8 ½”. There are two pages on each sheet of paper. You'll need to cut the sheet of paper in half and then staple the half-pages to make the mini-book.

Article titles- Who was St. Valentine?, How did the valentine card begin?, Why is Cupid part of Valentine's Day?, Is it Valentine's Day without candy?
