Use this fun craftivity to have your students celebrate Valentine's Day. Its fun and entertaining activity for Kindergarteners to do. It helps to practice following directions depending on how you model the construction of the owl or if you want to let them construct it on their own. I've come to understand that even when a template is provided for a student to complete an activity, they never end up looking the same. The end results end up being just like a snowflake, each one is always unique. Included with the craftivity are blackline masters for each part of the owl. I have included a 4 pages: a body page, the underlying eyes and beak page, the eyes and upper wings page, and the larger wings, ears and feet page. Your students can also use a paper plate to paint instead of using the body template provided. Its a matter of choice.
