The Valentine's Day PreK BINGO Cards can be utilized for children ages preschool to primary grades, as a fun way to introduce a winter themed classroom unit. It can be an easy game for the whole class to learn and play together. This resource includes 8 – 3 x 3 cards and 6 – 4 x 4 cards. I typically photocopy a few copies of each card and laminate, so they can be used multiple times without any damage. These can also be photocopied on printing paper for children to take home, afterwards. The BINGO Call Sheet is on page 17 for the teacher, who will randomly select a picture from the sheet. Children can either place a small object (i.e. beads, chips) if they are using the laminated paper, or use a bingo dauber if on a single use sheet of paper. If you have a large classroom, providing each child with a BINGO sheet, will have many children with the same sheet. Once all the pictures on the sheet are covered, a child will call out “BINGO!” This may have multiple winners at the same time, that can make the game even more special for everyone!
For the Valentine's Day Pre-K BINGO Cards, there are a few important factors to keep in mind for health
•Children under the age of three years old should be supervised, if they are placing small objects on the BINGO cards, as to avoid any choking incidences.
I hope you enjoy this learning resource!
