Valentine's Day can be a lot of fun for both teachers and students! What a better way to celebrate LOVE than with a festive STEM Activity?
Your students will be presented with a dilemma: Cupid's wing injury is preventing him from flying across the river that seperates his house from Lover's Lane. He has to deliver his arrows and needs your help!
Issue supplies to your students and present the challenge to students (build a floating device using only the supplies provided)
Allow the students to collaborate and brainstorm, completing the included “planning guide” worksheet.
Set the timer and watch your kids Go! Students will construct a floating device that will aid Cupid in crossing the river without sinking.
Students will test the success of their creation to determine if they were successful in the challenge!
