Valentine's Day Scrambled Sentences Center Holiday Writing Activity

Scrambled Sentences Centers are meant to be a low-prep way of having your student’s practice a skill in a fun, seasonal themed way. A couple of different recording sheets are included so that your students could work in this center more than once and have something different to do both times.

Print the TEN sets of sentence word cards (provided in both color and black and white versions). I recommend laminating them to ensure durability. Each set of words needs to be placed in its own plastic bag, envelope, or container.

Students will select a set of sentence word cards and build the sentence. They will record their sentence on a recording sheet. Each recording sheet has space to write five sentences. If your students have enough time to do all ten sentences, copy recording sheets front and back.

Two recording sheets just have space to write the completed sentence. The other two recording sheets have space to write the sentence and illustrate it as well.
