Heart size sorting cards AND size ordering cut & paste mini book! Students can arrange the seven sets of cards from smallest to largest (or largest to smallest) or sort sizes into piles. Each of the images have four cards in the set. This is a great beginning activity to introduce the concept of graduated order!
Also included is a "Valentine's Day Size Ordering" black and white mini book! Students cut out and glue (included) heart images in graduated order from smallest to largest or largest to smallest. Great hands on practice for math small groups! Students can color their books and trace the letters/words on each page when they are done size ordering! Book pages print two on a page. Full sheets of the heart images to cut out are included. I have included two different inside pages...a page where students trace Hh (for heart) and a page where students can trace the whole word "heart." Print five copies of the inside pages and cover to make a complete book.
These activities are the perfect addition to your February math center!
*I print all my games on card stock, laminate, and keep them on trays or in baskets in the centers. This way students can easily play the game with it already set up for them and they can put it away neatly!
