Valentine's Day Middle School Speech Therapy for Language
This Valentine’s Day Speech Therapy packet is perfect for the upper elementary and middle school speech therapy student targeting language skills! These Valentine’s Day worksheets are no prep and low ink.
Valentine’s Day Speech Therapy Worksheets Included:
(1) Valentine’s Day Spatial Relationships: this semantic relationships (word relationships) worksheet requires the student to look at the picture scene and select two correct answers to describe the location of objects.
(1) Valentine’s Day Time/ Sequence Relationships: this semantic relationships (word relationships) worksheet requires the student to read each story, then answer the questions that require interpretation of time and sequence vocabulary
(1) Valentine’s Day Describing: listing attributes to describe a cupcake
(1) Valentine’s Day Compare & Contrast: using a venn diagram, compare and contrast two Valentine’s Day themed words from the word bank
(1) Valentine’s Day Figurative Language: student explains what the underlined figurative language means
(1) Valentine’s Day Analogies: student answers True or False? analogy questions, then completes the analogies listed
(1) Valentine’s Day Homonyms: student circles the correct homonym in a written sentence, then uses the targeted homonyms in a sentence correctly
Valentine’s Day Negation: student answers simple negation questions, then answers more complex negation questions using a complete sentence containing target words suggested

(1) Valentine’s Day Recalling Information: student recalls numbers, words, and sentences after listening to SLP/ teacher without changing meaning, content, or sentence structure
Valentine’s Day Story Elements- Cupid and Psyche: student reads story of Cupid and Psyche, then identifies the setting, characters, problem, and resolution. In addition, prompts for story retell are included on this worksheet.
(1) Valentine’s Day Comprehension- Cupid and Psyche: use along with Cupid and Psyche Story Elements worksheet. Student spins to answer comprehension questions related to story. This worksheet can be used to target listening comprehension by cutting below the dotted line.
(2) Valentine’s Day Describing- Cupid and Psyche: use along with Cupid and Psyche: Story Elements worksheet in order to describe either Cupid or Psyche. Student lists attributes.
