It's "time" for Valentine's Day! :)
This pack is a great addition to your Math centers for the holiday. It engages students to have fun while learning the important skill of telling time, both with analog and digital clocks.
Here's what's included:
TIME TASK CARDS/SCOOT:
These cards are very versatile. They can be used as a small group center or as a game of Scoot! Students determine the time on the analog clocks and write the digital form on the recording sheet (included). Answer key included as well for easy grading/checking.
This is also a very versatile activity! Students can play a game of memory with cards facing down, matching the analog clock with it's digital clock match. Students could also simply spread the cards out and match the pairs. There are also enough cards included for you to have students find a partner by finding their analog/digital match! The possibilities are endless!
I HAVE, WHO HAS:
One of my personal favorites! Students play this effective and engaging game while practicing reading times in different formats: written, analog, digital, and with terms such as quarter till, quarter past, and half past. Plenty of cards are provided for large classes.
ROBOT ROUND-UP BOARD GAME:
Students draw a card and determine the time on it (analog and digital included). If they get the answer correct, they roll the die and move their game piece on the provided game board. The squares on the board will tell the student to add pieces to their robot! The first person to complete their robot, wins!
