Are you looking for a fun way for your students to practice writing their names this Valentine's Day? Check out these fun and pretty Valentine's Name Writing Practice Sheets! They are easy to use and editable!
Did you know? Being able to write their names is a crucial Kindergarten readiness skill for preschoolers! For starters, name recognition promotes independence (they can find their cubby, their belongings and their desk, if they can read their name.) Also, being able to read/write their name is an early literacy skill. It is a first step in developing the alphabetic principle. These tracing sheets help them learn to recognize and write their own name.
*How do I edit this resource?*
1. Purchase and download
2. Open in powerpoint
3. Select a dot-dot tracing font
(If you haven't already downloaded a traceable font on your computer, here is a free one by Kimberly Geswein.)
4. Add your students' names in the textboxes provided.
5. Print and use!
One of the best parts about editable products is that you can use them year after year, class after class! All you have to do is add your new students' names! Easy as that!
