In this teambuilding activity, students are asked to define values. A short discussion will be facilitated by the teacher where he/she allows students to come up with their own definition for "values." From there, students will stand up in an open area of the room to move from one end of the room to the other, based on their values. Various pairings of words will flash on the screen (Montana/New York, Artist/Scientist). Students will move either to the front of the room or the back of the room, based on what they value more. If they are somewhere in between, they need to move in the correct direction. This is a good kinesthetic activity and gets them talking about commonalities they share with others.
