This expanded food project is composed of 3 parts. Students will research basic facts and information about a Spanish-speaking country before choosing 2 traditional dishes prepared there. Students will find recipes online and complete a translation and sentence writing activity. The project will culminate by students preparing the traditional food for the class, or designing a poster that illustrates the recipe they have chosen.
A rubric is provided for the poster. The teacher can use his or her own discretion as to grading the internet research and translation portions of this project.
