Product Description
This puzzle is based on a 19th century pattern by the Anchor Stone Company. There are 7 shapes and are precision laser cut from 1/8" acrylic.

Each set contains the following:

A rectangle
A "standard" isosceles trapezoid
A "non-standard" obtuse, scale trapezoid
2 scalene right triangles
An equilateral triangle
An obtuse isosceles triangle

These puzzles pieces have many fascinating properties: the smaller tiles can be used to make the lager tiles, and the full set of tiles can be used to make larger versions of the same exact shape (rectangles, equilateral, scalene and isosceles triangles, etc.) better known as a "dilation." Great for teaching transformational geometry as well as ratio and proportion.

You can download a set of puzzles free from the website www.goodnitebob.com.

These tiles can also be used with the curriculum I designed called "Teaching Developmental Geometry Through Play

Order a class set of Van Hiele tiles (20 or more) and you'll get the curriculum for free!
