I created this resource for my 5th/6th graders. I found we were constantly coming back to basic functions with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. I was constantly having to revisit how to do these operations. My students needed a little more practice than we were doing in class.
This contains 30 pages. Each page has a variable (either whole number, decimal, or fraction) and 5 basic problems to go with that variable. The problems cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponents, order of operations, and a few other concepts. Concepts are all within the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Common Core standards. Answer key included.
I give my students one per week for homework (given Monday, due Thursday). It could be used like that, in centers, as an assessment, or just class practice.
