This is a short pracitice activity to review direct and inverse variation forms. It is designed for an interactive board, but can also be used on any computer, using the mouse. It was created using ActivInspire software and designed to be used with the Promethean whiteboards. Students are shown a board with a number of different equations, and two "baskets," one for direct variation and one for inverse variation. The object is to drag each equation to its correct basket. If correct, the object stays in place. If incorrect, it snaps out of the basket. There are even equations that do not fit either basket.
