Students have to work out where different combinations of vectors will take them around the grid. They can then match them to the answers at the bottom of the sheet.
I found it helped my students to understand the difference between a
and to understand how to add and subtract vectors.
It worked well with my 10th grade students but I would also use it with Grade 11 as well as some of the vectors are quite challenging to work out.

Common Core: HSN-VM.B.4c Understand vector subtraction v – w as v + (–w), where –w is the additive inverse of w, with the same magnitude as w and pointing in the opposite direction. Represent vector subtraction graphically by connecting the tips in the appropriate order, and perform vector subtraction component-wise.
