This super, fun resource presents ten large images of wonderfully colourful vegetables-légumes purchased from our local market in France. A picture of each has been carefully edited to use in this healthy living activity.
The English and French name of each vegetable-légume name appears on top in bright, large and easy to read font. A grid of grey, dashed lines overlays each vegetable-légume and can be easily cut out, separating them into six large puzzle pieces.
Mix up some or all vegetable-légume pieces. Invite children to sort through and reassemble images before decoding each name in English and French. Not only is this a great activity to help support early reading development in both languages, but it also reinforces a healthy cuisine.
