This ‘How many ticks can you get?’ game provides fun ways of learning the English vocabulary of vehicles. The reference page provides support for students ( who can read) when playing the game. This enables students to work independently, achieve success and build confidence. The works sheets provide opportunities for younger students to trace over words to make sentences, colour according to instructions and complete sentences about different vehicles. The game is also suitable for use with older EAL / ESL / ELL students as a different way of increasing English vocabulary.
Vocabulary on the reference page
car, bicycle / bike, van, helicopter, rowing boat, ship, aeroplane, scooter, rocket, bus, ambulance, train, lorry, tricycle, submarine, hot air balloon, raft, fire engine, police car, motor bike, kayak, quad, parachute, hang glider, surf board, motor boat
The contents page and samples of the resources can be viewed in the preview.
Also available in the EALEE store is ‘Transport Vocabulary Building Resources for EAL /ESL / ELL’ containing a wider range of games, activities and worksheets.

How to get TPT credit to use on future purchases in any store.
Please go to your 'My Purchases' page (you may need to login again). Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button which you should click. This will take you to a page where you can give a rating and leave a short comment about the product. Your feedback is very important to me because it lets me see which products are most useful for your students. This helps me to decide if alterations should be made and which new resources I should be producing.
Thank you for looking and I appreciate all feedback.
