Students will read about the lives of Claude Monet and Edgar Degas, and they will examine their artwork. Children will then complete a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting these two great artists. This activity includes THREE differentiated reading passages so that all students can access the information. There is also an illustrative piece to accompany the writing. This is a rich ELA activity, Common Core aligned, where students can really practice and apply analytical reading skills.
