Looking for a way to have your students dig deeper when comparing two texts? Use this graphic organizer!
It has a place for students to identify the topic that is the same from the texts they have read, a place to write the main idea of both texts. In the circles I instruct students to write down the details that support that main idea. If the detail is the same, it goes in the middle; if it's different they go on the outer parts.
This helped my class to give me stronger answers than just "they have the same pictures!"
