Don't let your students forget their Spanish over the summer! With this interactive multimedia packet, students will stay engaged with Spanish throughout the summer as they review key concepts from Spanish 1 such as: gustar, present tense, adjective agreement, expressing personal preferences and favorites, clothing, food, colors and other vocabulary.
This 20 page packet includes links to vocabulary games online that will get them excited about practicing during the summer. There is also a cloze activity with a song, links to two short videos, and a link to a virtual tour using Google Maps Street View.
In addition to all of the fun interactive media, students will engage with vocabulary through written activities that get them thinking about their own likes and dislikes and recording all the things they do over the summer in a photo journal with captions in Spanish. Other written activities include planning a picnic, shopping for summer clothes, writing a postcard, and talking about favorite beach activities.
I am especially proud of this product because of the scope and the variety of activities. included. I focused on keeping things colorful, fun, and related to summer time.
Whether your students have a tiny little track-out of a couple weeks or whether they have a glorious three month break, I think they will find plenty of activities here to keep them motivated and focused on their Spanish.
This is the product you need to bring your students into Spanish 2 ready to roll and excited for the new school year!
