PowerPoint explains verb endings for –ed, -es, -ies, and –ied. Introduction to past tense verbs. Verbs need –ed added to become past tense.
When words end in –sh, -ch, -x, -ss, -es should be added. Verbs that need the –y dropped and changed to –i and –ed or es is added. This PowerPoint has questions embedded for students to answer orally, on paper, or on dry erase boards. Students could even work with a shoulder partner or with a small group to answer questions. There are a total of 25 slides. Slides have great graphics for visual learning.
