Verb I Have/Who Has games are great for reading, listening, and speaking! The 75 verbs in this activity are divided into 3 twenty-five word groups with the last group including phrasal verbs. Each group has two game templates. That's six games in total! Just print, cut, and laminate! Also included are three Verb Charts perfect for tacking to a classroom board or directly in student notebooks. Be sure to check out the preview!

Distribute the cards randomly to your students. Instruct students on the language that will be used in the course of the game. This activity can be played with a full class or in small groups where students receive more than one card. This game is also great as a warm-up or cool-down activity!

These cards have designated “Go” and “Stop” cards. The player with the “Go” card reads her card first. Whoever has the next card reads that one and so forth. After reading a card aloud, the card is finished and turned over. The game is finished when the last student reads the "Stop" card.

Verb I Have/Who Has can utilize any number of language options depending on student levels and the language focus in class. Whether you are teaching beginners or more advanced learners, you‘ll quickly discover how flexibly these cards can be used in ESL classes:
