Verbs are essential to language and sentences and key to setting up the foundations of communication, learning and literacy. The following puzzles provide students a chance to read or hear a verb read to them and link the word to a picture to show they have comprehended the action word.
Print and laminate each set of puzzles for long term use. Cut up puzzles ready for use. The puzzles are divided into 3 Sets. Set 1 has early developing verbs through to Set 3 which has more challenging verbs. Each set of puzzles is labelled so they can be kept as a set or mixed up- either way pack up and sorting is made easier!
