Students practice identifying verbs and distinguishing between verb tenses. First, students cut out each strip (for a total of 10 strips). Beginning with the strip that says "Start" in the left box, students glue this strip onto the bottom row of their Order Up Board. Then, students read the sentence in the right box on the "Start" strip, find the verb, and identify its tense. After, students must find the strip with the verb tense they have identified and glue this strip in the row above the bottom row on their Order Up Board. Students will continue reading sentences and finding verb tenses, working their way "up" the board. This is a fun, engaging way for students to review verb tense and an answer key is included.
