Verb Tense Task Card Set #2 (Changing Tense)
Set #2 contains 28 single sentences which students are asked to change to a different tense from what each currently is, either past, present, or future.
Verb Tense Task Card Set #3 (Tense Shift)
Set #3 contains 14 full paragraphs which the students must search for a sentence which contains an inappropriate shift in verb tense. Then they rewrite the incorrect sentence in the correct tense to match the other sentences in the paragraph.

TASK CARD USE:
These cards can be used in a variety of ways including, but not limited to:
-group or partner work
-early finisher work
-Scoot Activity (One card on each desk. Students are given an allotted amount of time before teacher calls out “scoot” and everyone rotates to the next card with their recording sheets.)
-individual or group race (give allotted time, person/group with most correct in that amount of time wins!)
-warm-ups (teacher displays one card each day)
-read-aloud partner work (one partner reads the card and the other answers. Then switch for the next card.)
