This activity was created specifically to support ESL/Special ED. learners in using the verb 'to be' in sentences. It includes symbols and images for each each to help students understand the sentence and depict meaning. The activity board also displays the sentences in spoken English when clicked on - this audio/visual interaction is extremely beneficial for ESL students.
The game begins where students click on the boxes, read, listen and repeat the sentences. They then drag and drop the verbs into the correct sentences and check their answers on the last two activity boards.
- 5 activity board interactive play. PLEASE NOTE: These files can only play if you have Boardmaker installed on your PC. You can also play these on the iPad now with the new 'Boardmaker Student Center' app.
- 3 PDF files which you can print, laminate and use as you need / see fit.
Please check out the preview file for an image of the board.
I hope this activity helps your students in practicing the verb to be in an interactive and fun way!
