Works with ANY video clip OR book in ANY content area, no adaptations needed! Designed with Social Studies in mind, I wanted something to be useful in multiple courses with no changes necessary so it was easy to have on standby in a pinch. Here's how it works:
Faces- students write the names of historical figures, book characters, or even the species names of animals
Places- the names of cities, regions, nations, physical features, ect.
Vocabulary- terms from class or a list of words with unknown definitions to be looked up later
Statistics- number facts; such as # of feet high, # of miles travelled, # of casualties, amount $ spent
Surprises- shocking or unknown theories or facts
Visuals (on back)- a sketch of students' favorite scene or a collection of scenes.
*Can change the number of required responses based on skill level
*Advanced students can write vocab words eluded to but not expressly mentioned and/or for a visual create a movie poster advertising the clip
