This is a complete Student Ready No Prep Unit on Participles! Yay!

Participles and Participial Phrases Print & Go Grammar Pages
No Prep, No Stress Grammar Printables for Secondary ELA!
Introduce with a PowerPoint on participles and participial phrases. Use the six handouts, one each day, to introduce and practice the grammar concepts of participles and participial phrases. Each day has exit tickets ready to go at the end of the lesson. These exit tickets not only assess the students' ability to identify the participles and participial and their functions in the sentences, but also requires them to explain HOW THEY KNOW! Follow up with a pre-assessment of participles and participial phrases with eight task cards. Finalize with an assessment. Hang a poster to help students remember the skill! All of this is included!

NOTE: As an alternative to printing the task cards, I have also included the same task cards as a PowerPoint presentation. This would allow you to assess the entire class at once as an exit slip with the recording sheet or as an eight-shot game of Trashketball.

Great for ACT review!
