I created these activities as a fun way for students to practice identifying action, linking & helping verbs, as well as verb tenses. To use this product I suggest printing the cards on card stock, laminating and then cutting out for longer wear. I would also print the game labels and student directions pages and glue them onto a large manila envelope before laminating. Then, use the envelope as storage for the headings, cards and recording sheets.
I prefer to laminate the recording sheets for repeated use with Expo markers, but you could also print a paper copy to have students turn in as an accountability piece if using as an independent work station. Students can play these games in pairs or small groups as review or extra practice after learning about the various types of verbs.
