After searching high and low for a Student Lab Sheet that could work for students of multiple grade levels with open space for recording elements of a formal lab-report, I decided to make my own!
The lab sheet comes with a Question, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedure, Facts, Data & Observations, and Conclusion sections that have plenty of space to write or draw pictures in. This sheet prepares students for formal high school lab reports and was created after meeting with the vertical science team at our school to see what elementary students needed to know before hitting higher levels of science.
This simple layout is super versatile. You can use it for one day or multiple days as you fill out the sections! I use this for almost every lab and it lends itself well to all sorts of experiments and explorations. Hope you find it useful too!
